I stood around for a few minutes, then I got the towel-waving-over-the-head signal from one of the guys so I went out to the parking lot, handed him a tip, and got in the car.
I went to grab a quick car wash after work last night. This is one of those places where you give them your keys, wait in a room, and then they let you know when your car wash is done.
I went to a car wash with a perfectly intact windshield on my nice vehicle, and left 45 minutes later, less the money for the car wash and the tip, with a large crack in my windshield and a company blatantly refusing any responsibility or even so much as offering any sort of apology. I have filed a claim with my insurance, and it will cost me over $350 to replace the windshield.
Everything worked fine, I paid $2.75 total comma which is amazingly cheap. It starts out at a dollar 75 which you could probably get your car washed with if you're fast. The Spotless water actually had pressure, unlike other ones where takes 10 minutes to rinse off 1 panel. Perfect 5 stars for this car wash.
The past 2 times I have come to this car wash and got the "whole thing" package they didn't clean the wheels or vacuum. The second time I had to get the manager and he had to correct the situation. I won't be coming back because I shouldn't have to play QA as a customer.
I would strongly advise you to stay away from this car wash. I'd rather my car be dirty than have a big crack in the windshield.
I came to the service station to get gas at the waterway in Denver tech center. I was greeted by Evan. Who asked do you need a refund? I said no. I am coming to get some gas. He said well! Your are gonna have to pay for it!...i had the card in my hand . I asked for 7 seven dollars and he tried to charge 33.00
I was like wow...just racist! Don't go there they suck.
On my card. I told him that he put the wrong amount he said I made a mistake! Okaaay?!.
A minute later, a different man, the general manager, came to speak with me. I again explained the situation, and his response was that there was absolutely no way the crack was from the car wash. I was dumbfounded, "I'm confused... I handed your employee my keys without a crack in the windshield, and when I got the car back, there was a big crack in the windshield..." He went on to insist that there is absolutely no way the crack was caused by the car wash and there was no way they would be accepting even the slightest responsibility for the damage. He stated that there must have been a crack in the windshield before, I just hadn't noticed, and that it was made worse by the car wash. I sit in my car literally every single day, I would have noticed if there was a crack in the windshield.
As soon as I sat down, I noticed a large crack in the windshield, maybe a foot and a half long. I immediately got back out of the car and went to speak with a guy who looked to be in charge. I explained the situation and he quickly disappeared to grab an incident report form.
After he refused to budge, I requested the contact information for the corporate office and operational manager as well as the incident report I was originally promised. He returned shortly after with the contact information written on a card, but no incident report. When I asked for it, he said, "No we're not going to fill one of those forms out." I told him I would refuse to leave the premises without something in writing documenting what had happened, and after a bit, he conceded and filled out the report.
Let me start this review by saying that I have never written a negative review before. I finally found a place deserving.
Got the full service wash which includes outside and vacuum inside with windows inside and out and wipe down of dash and middle counsel. Only half the inside of my front windshield was wiped you could still see the dirt all across the bottom. Also looks as if they didn't even thouch wiping down anything on the dash dust particles still in spots and the middles counsel and area where ac buttons are was still full of dust they didn't even touch it. I went back the next day showed the manager he took it back to the vacuum area. They took my floor mats over to the power washer as well as many others cars which I didn't see done not once the day before. The day before they were a lot busier but still. When I got called over to look at it the window was still the same still half dirty so I asked for the rag and did it myself. Everything else was done much better but I felt each time they were in a big hurry.
