It's a good way to get some affordable and healthy prepared food, the frozen pasta dishes and the fresh salads are awesome. However if you are looking for produce you are almost out of luck.
You do get the weirdos that shop here too. You can always pick them!
Trader Joe's is a mixed bag: great for getting just a few things, and then not so great for a complete shopping trip.

Its alright. The parking lot is an absolute nightmare and the store is quite cramped.

Trader Joe's is consistently a terrific place to get a tremendous variety of high quality and affordable food. Some things that I buy here have become staples, and several holiday specific goodies are expected by my family. Case in point: Dark Chocolate Star cookies are an essential part of the holiday season. The Trader Joe's hummus, yogurt, blue corn chips, chocolate chips, and hot sauce improve any occasion. I was so happy when Trader's finally came to Colorado. Beyond all this, there is no better staff who should be emulated for their speed and efficiency during checkout.
I'll come by about once a week for lunch food and easy dinners, but head to King Soopers for just about everything else.
We really enjoyed our shopping trip to this store last week. We spent $120 and brought home three large heavy bags of groceries including meat, nuts, canned goods, fresh vegetables and dried and fresh fruit. Money very well spent!
I have to say that everytime I visit there is always something new in stock. So that is a bonus for variety. They are not expensive.
